Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Steven Phan is a Montréal-based designer and photographer. With a sharp eye and sensitivity that fosters deep connections, his work is an artistic tapestry inspired by the rich language of visual communication, seamlessly blending strategic insight with creative innovation.
Design* Over two decades of experience crafting apparel, footwear, bags, and accessories, his designs are a fusion of style and functionality, showcasing his expertise from initial concept through to final production. He holds a Master’s in Design and Technology from the University of Arts London, complemented by a DEC in Fashion Design from LaSalle College.
Photography* His photographic work narrates an empathetic perspective of his subject. He sees beauty in authenticity, focusing his lens on capturing creative beings, raw emotions, and candid moments. Trained in Commercial Photography at Dawson College, his portfolio is distinguished by an in-depth understanding of light, composition, and focus on details that tell compelling stories.
